Intensive Driving Lessons Wolverhampton: Pass Sooner With 1-to-1 Tuition

Need your licence in weeks rather than months? Sandhu Driving School runs intensive driving lessons in Wolverhampton every day of the week, in manual or automatic cars. If you would rather spread things out, weekly lessons are always an option too.

Every course includes 1-to-1 tuition with a DVSA approved instructor, home pickup and a dual-controlled car. Together, we choose suitable hours around your experience, theory test progress and practical test date. Your progress and test availability will affect how soon you can take your test.

Wolverhampton Driving Lessons: Intensive or Weekly?

We offer both approaches, so you can choose how lessons fit into your life. Both prepare you for the same driving test, but they give you different amounts of time between sessions.

How Our Intensive Driving Lessons in Wolverhampton Work

We plan every course in 4 clear steps, so you understand what happens before daily lessons begin:

1

Assessment Lesson

After checking how you drive, your instructor suggests how many hours would suit you. This helps you choose a course around your needs.

2

Theory Test

Our team also supports your theory and hazard perception revision. You need to pass your theory test before you can book your practical test.

3

Your Test Date

You now book your practical test yourself. You make the booking, and we plan towards finishing your course just before it.

4

Daily Lessons

We guide you from quiet estates onto busier Wolverhampton roads as your skills develop. Your lessons include the A4150 Inner Ring Road and roads around the Spring Road test centre in Ettingshall.

Learners can now change a booked test only twice, so we help you choose a realistic date from the start. We also use mock tests and help with Show Me Tell Me to prepare you for test day.

Wolverhampton Driving Instructors Behind Every Course

Our Wolverhampton driving instructors give intensive and weekly learners the same individual attention. For all 60 minutes, your instructor teaches you 1-to-1 and keeps their attention on your driving.

Qualified & Caring Instructors

Sandhu Driving School offers male and female instructors, and our instructors are DVSA approved and DBS-checked. Our dual-controlled car gives you support while you develop your driving skills.

An Instructor You Can Rely On

Your instructor explains when you are ready and where you still need practice. We would rather recommend more tuition than encourage you to take a test before you can drive safely.

Support for Nervous Learners

We support nervous learners with a gradual start on quiet roads, followed by more demanding driving as confidence grows. Your course can include breaks between sessions, so you have time to rest and stay focused.

If daily lessons feel too demanding, weekly tuition offers another option alongside our intensive courses.

Driving Schools Wolverhampton Learners Compare: What to Check

We explain our tuition and prices before you commit. When comparing courses, check that your chosen school meets these needs:

Each lesson is taught 1-to-1 by a DVSA approved instructor.
You know the full course price and advance payment before booking.
Your course plan fits around your own practical test date.
Your school confirms home pickup before lessons begin.

Sandhu Driving School provides each of these, so you can discuss the details before choosing your package.

Intensive Driving Lessons FAQs

1. Can I Begin an Intensive Course Before Passing My Theory Test?

You can start lessons before passing your theory test. However, you must pass it before booking your practical test, so we consider this when planning your course.

2. How Many Hours a Day Will I Drive?

We plan your daily hours around your package and stamina. Sessions include breaks because you need to stay focused and have time to take in what you learn.

3. Can I Spread My Course Over Longer Than 2 Weeks?

Yes, you can take a semi-intensive course with fewer hours each day. We can discuss a schedule around work, study or your theory test preparation.

4. Can You Book My Driving Test for Me?

No, since 12 May 2026 the law only lets the learner book, change or cancel a car driving test. We help you choose a sensible date and plan your tuition around it.

5. What Can I Do if I Need More Practice Before My Test?

After explaining where your driving needs further work, your instructor may suggest more tuition hours or postponing your test. You can usually make up to 2 changes, depending on how many you have already used.
