Sandhu Driving School Mission and Vision
Mission:
We turn every learner into a safe, confident driver through patient 1-to-1 lessons at a fair price. Each lesson follows your own pace, so you pass because you are ready rather than rushed.
Vision:
We aim to be the first driving school West Bromwich and Wolverhampton families recommend to new learners and future instructors. Our hope is that every pupil keeps driving safely long after their test, on motorways, rural roads and busy junctions.
If our approach sounds right for you, call free on 0800 056 3016 and book your first lesson with us.
Our Story: Building a Driving School West Bromwich and Wolverhampton Learners Trust
Sandhu Driving School began in [year founded], when Sunny, an independent Approved Driving Instructor, started teaching learners in Tipton. The aim was simple: high-quality training at a fair price, with every lesson shaped around the person in the driving seat.
That meant teaching at each learner's own pace instead of using one fixed script for everyone. As pupils passed and left reviews on Google, Facebook, Trustpilot and Yell, more families started asking for lessons.
The school then grew into a team of male and female instructors working across the West Midlands. Later, it became ORDIT registered, so it could also train the next generation of driving instructors.
Ask your instructor about how we started, and they will happily share more of the story during your lesson.

How We Teach: Patient 1-to-1 Tuition and Honest Feedback
Your first lesson starts with a calm drive on quiet roads, so your instructor can see what you already know. From there, we build a lesson plan around your skills, your confidence and your hoped-for test date.
Our patient driving instructors explain each skill first, then let you practise it until it feels comfortable rather than rushed. Nervous learners stay on quieter streets for longer and only meet busy roundabouts once they feel ready.
We also tell you honestly how close you are to test standard, because booking too early wastes money and confidence. Learners with hearing difficulties are welcome too, and our driving lessons for deaf learners follow the same 1-to-1 approach.
Share any worries when you book, and your instructor will shape your first lesson around them.
Meet Our Instructors
You can choose a male or female instructor, so you learn with someone who makes you feel comfortable.

DVSA Approved Driving Instructors With Checked Credentials
Every instructor who teaches for us holds the qualifications and checks the DVSA expects for paid lessons:
ADI Qualified
Each of our DVSA approved driving instructors has passed all 3 ADI qualifying tests.
DBS-Checked
Our instructors hold an enhanced DBS check, renewed with their ADI registration every 4 years.
Dual-Controlled Cars
We teach in dual-controlled manual and automatic cars, so your instructor can brake if needed.
Ongoing Standards
DVSA standards checks confirm that each instructor's teaching still meets the required level.
ORDIT Registered Driving School for New Instructors
Sandhu Driving School is listed on ORDIT, the official register of instructor trainers that the DVSA recommends. That registration covers Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and standards check training for new and working instructors.
ORDIT trainers are also inspected regularly, which keeps the training we give at the standard the DVSA sets. If you want to teach others, read about driving instructor training in Wolverhampton first. Our driving instructor training in West Bromwich page covers the same course, so call us about entry requirements.
